Hear my quick story and why hypnotherapy
I’m Dr. Denise Koh (aka “the Workplace MD”), and I am a medical doctor trained as a Public Health specialist with additional training in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. I am also a practicing hypnotherapist and life coach. I’ve also taken a ton of self-help and motivational courses along my journey—I’ve had my share of struggles and dark times (and triumphed every time), and am now pouring everything I’ve learned into this work.
I kind of fell into hypnotherapy around 2008, when I was studying for my Royal College specialty exam. Actually, I wasn’t studying, and that was the problem. I was having regular panic attacks about all things related to this exam and couldn’t settle down enough to study.
To my amazement, it worked! I have been a hypno-junkie ever since. I’ve successfully used it for my RC exam, IVF, my subsequent pregnancy (I ended up having 3 biological pregnancies and kids), preparation as a single soon-to-be mom, delivery, burnout, manifesting my soulmate, workplace harassment—pretty much every challenge I’ve had to deal with--you name it. And I’ve successfully used it with my patients. The reason for this is simple:
I can’t think of any Lose here—it’s all Win-Win-Win. So much that I decided to practice it and spread the goodness. And I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I was really good at it.

Essentially what I do is facilitate getting you to a relaxed enough state so that I can talk to your subconscious mind and reprogram your inner messages to better align with your chosen goals for yourself.
